Japanese flag on a lantern

Balloons are often used for a party in Australia, to make it easy for the participants to find the spot. Now, people are realising that balloons are not good for our environment. So instead, I found a lantern with the Australian flag pattern. Then I realised that I could draw the Japanese flag on a white lantern. That is what I used for the yakisoba workshop and kōryū-kai (the gathering) last weekend. How lucky Japanese are because it is so easy to draw our flag.

Intermediate:

先週（せんしゅう）の「焼（や）きそばワークショップ＆交流会（こうりゅうかい）」で、日本（にほん）の国旗（こっき）「日（ひ）の丸（まる）」のランタンを飾（かざ）りました。

オーストラリアの国旗（こっき）のランタンを見（み）つけて、「そうだ、日（ひ）の丸（まる）のランタンを作（つく）ろう！」と思（おも）いました。どうですか、うまくできていませんか。

日本人（にほんじん）はラッキーですよね。だって、「日（ひ）の丸（まる）」は簡単（かんたん）に描（か）けますから。

Elementary:

せんしゅうの「やきそばワークショップと　こうりゅうかい」で、しゃしんのランタンを　つかいました。しろいランタンをかって、日本（にほん）のナショナル・フラッグをかきました。

どうですか。日本（にほん）のナショナル・フラッグのなまえは、「日（ひ）のまる」です。「日（ひ）のまる」は　かんたんです。日本人（にほんじん）は　ラッキーです。
